Checking in is as simple as signing into the app. One sign-in updates the check-in for all your switches at once. If you don’t check in before the timer expires, your contacts receive your custom message automatically.

The Free plan supports monthly and yearly check-in intervals. Premium unlocks all intervals including 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, and 365 days.

Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. If you cancel, you’ll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period, then automatically switch to the Free plan.

Your existing switches and contacts are never deleted. If you exceed your new plan’s limits, your existing items keep working but you won’t be able to create new ones until you’re within limits.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data at rest and in transit. Your messages are stored securely and only delivered to your designated recipients when a switch triggers. We never sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.

Switchifye is for anyone who wants their loved ones to be notified if something happens to them. It’s especially popular with crypto holders protecting digital assets, people living alone, solo travelers and outdoor adventurers, and anyone who wants a simple safety net for their family.

On the Switchifye Premium plan you can attach files to any switch, and they’re delivered to your recipients only if the switch triggers. Just open a switch, tap Attach files, and upload.
Supported types include PDF, Word documents (DOC/DOCX), text files, and images (JPG, PNG, HEIC), up to 45 MB per file and 5 files per switch.

There’s essentially no difference. The web app works with the phone app or on its own, whichever you prefer. The one difference is the iPhone/Android apps also send alerts to your phone in addition to email.

Nothing. Your switches will remain active and continue their normal behavior of firing if you don’t check in. The only change to your account is that you won’t be able to edit or add more switches.

Each contact on that switch receives an email with the subject line and message you wrote, delivered exactly as you composed it. It arrives showing your email alongside Switchifye’s sending address, so your contacts can see it came from you. If you attached files, they arrive as secure download links in the same email.
